Hey guys welcome back to my blog. I am back after a really long time. I really wanted to thank you guys for being so supportive throughout my blogging journey. A really big thanks for so much love. Okay so now coming back to our real topic. Are you really happy?
Trust me guys when I say this I ask this question to myself every other day(and I am sure you guys do ask this questions to yourself as well), Am I really happy with my life?
And I get a different answer every time its either probably or not really.
Before knowing whether you are happy or not you need to know what is the true definition of happiness? Have you ever wondered? Happiness is not laughing out loud or making fun of that girl whose dressing style you don’t find suitable. Then what exactly does this 9 letter word mean?
Happiness, true happiness, is an inner quality. It is a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you are happy. If your mind is at peace, but you have nothing else, you can be happy. If you have everything the world can give – pleasure, possessions, power – but lack peace of mind, you can never be happy.
So what gives this peace of mind that Dada Vaswami told us about.
DO WE GET PEACE OF MIND BY SURFING ON THE INTERNET
BY ONLINE SHOPPING or
BY MAKING FUN OF OTHERS or
MAYBE BY BUYING AN EXPENSIVE PHONE or
BY BUYING MAKEUP or
BUYING DRESSES AT AN EXPENSIVE STORE or
WATCHING EASY LIFE HACKS VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE or BY WATCHING TV SERIES ON SOME WEBSITE.
Okay so before you guys get annoyed by my description above let me tell you that I have done almost everything written above and I am sure a lot of you guys have done the same. But lets admit it guys, it just gives a temporary satisfaction and nothing else. After a few days those things doesn’t even matter. And there is no such hack video that can make your life easy, just think about it if it was possible than no one would be unhappy in the whole world.
So what gives you happiness?
Let me give you a few examples.
Do you remember when you were child and you wanted to buy a bicycle and your father finally agreed to your request?(did it bring a smile to your face)
Do you remember when you saved 100 bucks in your piggy bank and finally broke it to buy a gift for you brother/sister and when you finally gave them the gift, do you remember that smile on their face?(okay now admit it that you are smiling)
So see these little things actually brought happiness to your lives.
So how do we get truly happy in life? How do we get happiness in life?
I think it depends person to person. But there are some basic things that are same in everyone’s lives, which are mentioned below.
- You don’t get annoyed in small things(like spilling the coffee), in fact you appreciate little things(listening to your favorite song).
2. You don’t worry about the future too much, you believe in living in the moment.
3. If you get tensed you know how to calm yourself down.
4.You are in a healthy relationship with everyone.(it’s not only with the one).
5. You appreciate other people’s success without getting jealous.
So guys these are the 5 keys that can give you true happiness in life. Trust me and try to adopt these and then you will see and believe me you are not alone facing this stressful life. And read the below lines of Gautam Buddha..
To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.
